This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to secure a full academic year position supporting children aged 7-11 with competitive daily rates.About the RoleYou'll be working closely with KS2 children (Years 3-6) who have a range of Special Educational Needs, providing crucial one-to-one and small group support. This role offers incredible job satisfaction as you help pupils navigate their learning journey through these important primary years and achieve their potential.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted support for KS2 pupils with SEN across various needs including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and behavioral challenges
- Support curriculum access across all KS2 subjects including literacy, numeracy, science, and foundation subjects
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under teacher guidance
- Help pupils develop age-appropriate social skills and independence
- Assist with KS2 SATs preparation where appropriate
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and learning strategies
- Monitor and record pupil progress and achievements
- Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCo, and external professionals
- Support pupils during transitions, break times, and unstructured periods

- Degree in Psychology, Education, or related field
- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning
- Training in specific SEN areas (autism awareness, behaviour management, etc.)
- Experience with communication aids or assistive technology
