Job Description:Assistant Accountant - Ripponden | £27,000-£30,000 + Study SupportRobert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing business based in the Ripponden / Sowerby area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some accounts experience who's ready to take the next step, gain broad exposure across the finance function, and benefit from ongoing training and progression.The Role:This is a varied and hands-on role where you'll gain experience across key areas of finance, including:
  • Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Supporting wider finance tasks and projects
You'll be joining a supportive team and working closely with experienced finance professionals who will help you develop your skills and progress in your career.What We're Looking For:
  • Some experience in accounts or finance (e.g. Accounts Payable, finance admin)
  • Strong IT skills, especially Excel
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A quick learner with a proactive attitude
  • A genuine interest in building a career in accountancy
