At RS Group, we're looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Business Analyst (Supply Chain) to help deliver high-impact projects that enhance and optimise our supply chain operations. From warehouse upgrades to logistics improvements and transport optimisation, you'll work closely with technology teams and business stakeholders to turn opportunities into measurable results.As part of our wider Business Analyst Practice, you'll join a collaborative, experienced BA community where knowledge sharing and continuous development are part of the culture. You'll also have the chance to contribute to cross-functional projects and broaden your experience across different portfolios.What You'll Be Doing
- Elicit, define, and document clear, actionable business requirements that reflect genuine business needs.
- Own and manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring alignment, traceability, and quality.
- Collaborate with Architects to ensure proposed solutions align with strategic and operational goals.
- Partner with Engineers and stakeholders to support solution design, development, and delivery.
- Plan and manage your own analysis workload, contributing effectively to overall project timelines.
- Apply structured problem-solving and critical thinking to identify and shape the best solutions.
- Support vendor selection processes, including creating evaluation criteria and participating in assessments.
- Facilitate productive workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements and gather insights.
- Create process models, user journeys, and other analysis artefacts to support informed decision-making.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Supply Chain or Logistics sector.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes, systems, and operations (knowledge of SAP/EWM/WMS/WCS is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
- Experience using business analysis techniques such as user stories, use cases, and process modelling (e.g., BPMN, As-is/To-be diagrams).
- Confidence in facilitating workshops and using a range of requirements elicitation methods.
- Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply and build trust with stakeholders.
- Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Confluence, JIRA, or similar.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with a commitment to delivery excellence.
- A collaborative mindset with a drive to learn and continuously improve.
- Help for people to take control of ongoing Health conditions such as diabetes or asthma with £500 a year available for monitoring & consultation
- Support for Neurodiverse colleagues and families with neurodiverse members with needs assessment, diagnosis and post diagnostic support for autism spectrum, ADHD and Tourette's syndrome
- Support for Women at different life stages from streamlined fertility support through to diagnosis and monitoring of both endometriosis and menopause
- Helping our LGBTQ+ community through enhanced coverage for trans colleagues, including voice coaching, facial surgery and gender confirmation surgery
- Additions to Fertility coverage including IVF for lesbian couples and information/support around surrogacy and adoption for all.
