Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Our client is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Plate Mounting Operative to join their dynamic team in Evesham! If you're detail-oriented, thrive under pressure, and enjoy working collaboratively, we want to hear from you!About the Role: As a Plate Mounter, you will be an essential part of a printing process, ensuring that printing plates are meticulously mounted according to work order specifications and artwork requirements. Your expertise will directly contribute to the smooth operation. Please note that occasional travel to our other location may be required for additional support.What You'll Do:
  • Retrieve plates from the Plate Library with precision.
  • Locate cylinders/sleeves and load them onto the microdot mounting machine using an excellent level of attention to detail.
  • Set plates and cameras, ensuring correct positioning as per work order instructions.
  • Fill plates with liquid if needed and tape the edges.
  • Strip plates and tape from cylinders/sleeves upon job completion.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace by organising cylinders/sleeves after finishing your tasks.
Who You Are: To thrive in this role, you should possess:
  • A manufacturing background (preferred).
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure while prioritising tasks.
  • Strong teamwork skills and a flexible, dynamic approach to work.
  • Good communication abilities to engage with the team effectively.
Environmental and Safety Awareness: We prioritise safety and sustainability in our operations. As part of our team, you will be expected to:
  • Understand environmental permits and aspects.
  • Be aware of integrated pollution prevention and control.
  • Complete hygiene and health & safety training, including PPE and manual handling policies.
