- Deliver 1:1 and group academic support to help students understand course material, develop skills, and achieve success.
- Act as a personal academic tutor, building strong relationships to create individual support and development plans.
- Identify at-risk students using data (e.g., attendance, performance) and implement early intervention strategies.
- Facilitate SMART goal setting and monitor progress through regular check-ins and feedback.
- Collaborate with well-being, careers, and academic teams to connect students to relevant resources.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions, plans, and outcomes to support continuous improvement.
- Promote an inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diverse backgrounds.
- Provide timely academic guidance, constructive feedback, and advocacy to help students navigate challenges confidently.
- Uphold safeguarding, equality, and data protection policies.
- Undertake occasional travel to events or other campuses as required
- Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Business, Management, Fashion, Hospitality).
- Working towards or holding a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in Further or Higher Education.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with learning management and student support systems.
- Cultural competence and commitment to inclusive education and widening participation.
- Master's degree in a (e.g., Business, Management, Fashion, Hospitality).
