We are looking for a nurse with a passion for community services to join us as Locality Matron for community services, our community services are delivered across Scarborough / Ryedale / Whitby and Pocklington.Main duties of the jobThe locality matron will provide clinical leadership to the aligned clinical services including Whitby community ward and Whitby community nursing team. The post holder will report to the divisional clinical lead and provide visible leadership across a service settings, monitoring and ensuring high professional standards are maintained.The post holder needs to be an innovative and dynamic practitioner committed to improving the patient experience, improving standards of care and services, whilst supporting the leadership team in delivering the trust strategy and values. They will ensure that services are using evidence to support safe and effective service delivery and contribute to the delivery of the patient safety and quality agenda.The post holder will be an integral member of the senior leadership team providing support to implement and monitor progress on delivery of strategic objectives to ensure the provision of high-quality care.The post is full time but we would consider part time hours for the right candidate.About usWe are an award winning and CQC rated good health and social care Trust delivering integrated services across Hull, East and North Yorkshire.
