We have a great opportunity for a dedicated Structural Investigation Technician to join our Infrastructure Division and wear the SOCOTEC badge with pride.We are looking for a motivated, dependable and committed Structural Investigation Technician to join our Team. As a member of Structures & Pavements, you will be exposed to a range of unique projects across the country. It is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a Team, as well as having the capabilities to work independently. Due to the nature of the jobs you will undertake, there is a strong possibility of working away from home, therefore high levels of flexibility are essential.The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
  • Carry out structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks
  • Carry out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCP's
  • Liaison with clients
  • Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
  • Equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Maintain company profile at all times
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Results focus individual. Prepared to work additional hours and be able to work under pressure at times when required to meet client deadlines.

  • Full driving licence (Company van will be provided)
