A welcoming nursery in the Bristol area is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.🌟 About the RoleAs a Nursery Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the daily care, learning, and development of young children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You'll assist with routines, lead play-based learning activities, and work closely with staff and families to support each child’s individual needs.🔍 Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times
- Support children’s development through play, stories, and age-appropriate learning activities
- Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development
- Help with daily routines including feeding, changing nappies, and toileting
- Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized learning space
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff and parents
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and the wider nursery team
- Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction
- Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures
- Assist with setting up and tidying away resources and play areas
- Take part in staff meetings and relevant training opportunities
