- Leading a team of Technicians and Mechanics in all aspects of Base Maintenance checks.
- Ensuring correct completion of paperwork and forms as per Company MOE or published procedures.
- Keeping the Bay Manager and Production Planners updated on maintenance requirements and any potential issues.
- Ensuring all maintenance documentation is completed in a timely manner, including that of personnel assisting in the task.
- Allocating correct timings to tasks and ensuring accurate bookings on task cards.
- Ensuring proper storage of aircraft components, including labelling, racking, availability, and serviceability.
- Maintaining standard engineering practices within the hangar, including completing task cards accurately, ensuring cleanliness, and preventing FOD.
- Recommending improvements in working conditions, practices, and procedures to Bay Managers and Maintenance Manager.
- Undertaking any other tasks and duties as reasonably required in accordance with business needs.
- Working in accordance with the company framework and compliance with organisational policies, including participating in risk management and mandatory training.
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, with significant experience in Base Maintenance.
- Ability to use recognised aircraft documentation.
- Broad skillset in aircraft systems, including rigging, component replacement, and modification embodiment.
- Good structural assessment and repair knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems.
- B1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence:
- Must be UK CAA AML
- Type Rating & Recency for any Boeing or Airbus family aircraft.
- Desirable:
- Type Rating & Recency for Boeing 737NG / Boeing 737-800.
