We have a large and resilient GP team and are looking for the right person to join our team as a senior partner retires.Utilising the PCN DES we have been fortunate to recruit paramedics, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, first contact physiotherapists and mental health workers to make a large impact on addressing GP Workload.We are looking for a GP to join the team at our Ivybridge site. We currently have 21 partners which enables stability at a time of uncertainty within NHS General Practice.As we are looking for the right GP for our practice, we are happy to wait for the right candidate. We are open to portfolio working with many of our GPs having other interests to remain resilient.Quality of life is important, we structure our workload and support each other to manage day to day demand.We run a total triage system which allows more independence on how the day is managed and have a Duty Day system led by our Allied Healthcare Professionals (Urgent Care Team) with GP support.Our own GP lists are stratified to enable GPs to focus on continuity (usual GP lists) and our Urgent Care team deal with a lot of workload where acute care is favoured.For information contact Clinical Director / Managing GP Partner - Dr Andrew Mercer by email with CV attached.
