An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Optical Assistant to join the team. As an Optical Assistant you will work alongside the clinical team in the day to day running of eye care clinics, carrying out diagnostic examinations whilst maintaining high quality care to all patients.Main duties of the jobThis role is 37.5 hours across 4 days. During the initial training period, lasting at least 8 weeks, you will need to travel to various locations within the region for a minimum of 3 days per week. These sites include, but are not limited to, Slough, Stevenage, Ilford, and Watford. Once training is complete, you will be primarily based in Worthing for at least 2 days a week, with the remaining 2 days involving travel to other sites as necessary. All travel will occur during your scheduled working hours.
