Optometrist - Domiciliary
Location: Covering Lothian and Scottish Borders (primarily Lothian)
Contract: 3 days per week - MON - FRI
Salary: Up to 34,800 ( 58,000 FTE)

About the Role:You will work across care homes and home visit settings in Lothian and the surrounding Borders area, supported by an experienced dispensing team. This role offers genuine clinical freedom away from the constraints of the high street.
  • Monday to Friday only - no evenings or weekends
  • 8:30am to 5:30pm working hours
  • Full equipment and clinical support provided
  • Focused on delivering excellent patient care and building rapport
What We're Looking For:
  • GOC registered Optometrist with appropriate OPL/Health Board registration
  • At least 1 year post-qualified experience (domiciliary experience preferred but not essential)
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
  • A confident communicator who is clinically focused but commercially aware
  • Full driving licence and happy to travel daily
  • Ideally based in an EH postcode area (TD postcode also workable)
