Salary: Up to £45,000 per annumWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team at a static site in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work on facilities maintenance for a key client, ensuring all mechanical systems operate safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems and plant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in coordinating maintenance schedules.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Work alongside a team of electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless site operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in facilities or plant maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, HVAC, hydraulics, and related equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
