Job Description:A well-established accountancy practice in Newport is seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Practice Accountant to join their growing team. They are offering a fantastic work-life balance in a relaxed and supportive environment, with no out-of-hours working.They are seeking an experienced Practice Accountant.Preparation of Financial Statements including TB, P&L and Balance Sheet for Limited companies and sole traders
  • Reconciliation of fixed asset register
  • Preparing journals in relation to all aspects of the balance sheet
  • Preparing accounts from incomplete records
  • Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns
  • VAT Returns completed on both standard and cash accounting schemes
  • Preparation of quarterly management accounts/ bank covenants
  • Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns dealing with capital gains, self-employment income, employment income, dividends and property income
  • Completion of Partnership Accounts and Tax Returns
  • Completion of Estate and Trust Tax Returns
  • Managing and reviewing staff member's work allocation and client portfolio
