To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.Bank Physiotherapy Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) - internal applicantsPositionOpportunities have arisen for Bank Physiotherapy Health Care Support Workers (HCSW) Band 3 & 4 within NHS Ayrshire & Arran.Please also note you will only be considered for this post if you are in the same role in your substantive post. You will be appointed on the bank on the same band as your current substantive post if you are in a Physiotherapy HCSW role.What you will do:You will work as part of the multidisciplinary and physiotherapy teams carrying out a range of activities, clinical care tasks and other duties as delegated by and in support of a registered Physiotherapist Support and supervision is provided by the registered Physiotherapist.In partnership with the registered Physiotherapist, the HCSW will review patient documentation and competently perform the necessary aspects of clinical and non-clinical duties within their scope of clinical practice. They will ensure delivery of care to a high standard, recording their activity in line with local and national standards of documentation. Progress and activity will be reported back to the registered Physiotherapist.Depending on the activity and the team, this work will take place within a hospital, clinic or community setting.Why apply to the bank?

  • You will be appointed without an interview, subject to a satisfactory reference.
  • Following your appointment, you will be asked to complete a skills checklist. This will be reviewed to determine the clinical settings in which you will be offered work.
  • Hours: This is a bank post to work as and when required.
