Join a friendly and professional team in the Finishing Cell, where precision and teamwork come together to deliver excellence.We’re looking for someone with experience in electronic assembly and soldering to IPC Class 3 standards, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in doing things right the first time.Soldering Technician – Key Responsibilities:
- Solder SMT and PTH components, wires, and thermal planes using various equipment
- Follow detailed assembly instructions and build standards
- Perform hand cleaning, fit mechanical fixings, and maintain a clean, safe work area
- Complete traceability paperwork including batch records, build reports, and logs
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to identify and correct errors
- Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements
- Maintain tools and equipment such as microscopes and soldering irons
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ESD requirements
- Work flexibly to help meet weekly production targets
- Minimum 12 months’ experience soldering electronic PCBs
- IPC 610 or J-STD certification (current)
- Skilled in SMT rework, multi-layer/PTH hand soldering, and wire modifications
- Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Able to work efficiently with high accuracy and throughput
- Professional attitude and strong communication skills
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
