- Managing all commercial aspects of the project, including preparation and pricing of contracts.
- Supporting the bid team during pre-contract stages and providing commercial leadership through delivery.
- Working closely with design and delivery teams to identify and realise cost savings.
- Taking ownership of procurement, reporting, applications and accurate financial forecasting.
- Ensuring risks and opportunities are effectively managed and controlled.
- Providing clear and accountable financial reporting for both internal and client requirements.
- Proven experience in rail or large-scale civil engineering projects.
- Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (Option C/E preferred).
- Track record of managing commercial teams and delivering successful project outcomes.
- Skilled in contract preparation, procurement, and cost management.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Commercially astute, detail-driven, and confident in leading reporting and governance.
