You’ll work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral leaders to support students' emotional wellbeing, behaviour, and learning.This is an excellent opportunity to build experience for careers in:
- Educational or Clinical Psychology
- Counselling & Therapy
- Teaching & SEN Support
- Youth & Social Work
- Providing 1:1 or small group support for students with emotional, behavioural or learning needs
- Assisting in the implementation of behaviour support plans
- Supporting students with focus, motivation, and emotional regulation
- Helping create a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment
- Working collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupil progress
- Psychology degree or currently studying psychology (or related subject)
- Interest in child development, mental health, or education
- Excellent communication and empathy skills
- Reliable, patient, and adaptable
- Experience working with children is a bonus, but not essential – full training provided!
- Valuable, real-world experience in education and mental health

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
