Through our dedicated and outstanding team, we deliver exceptional care and education.We are seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for our home in Broadway, Partington, South Manchester. Where we support 4 adults with autism and learning disabilities.Rewards/BenefitsThe annual salary £29,817.56, which equates to: £13.65 p/h, plus 1 sleep in shift per week .· Healthcare cashback scheme (includes dental/optical/physiotherapy/ health and wellbeing support)· Care Friends employee referral & reward scheme to earn up to an extra £1000!· Bright Stars bonus payments, employee of the month· Overtime and extra sleep-in opportunities available· All meals & refreshments provided whilst at work· Salary sacrifice schemes – pension, cycle to work and electric vehicle· Life assurance (2 x salary)Responsibilities· To always act as a senior member of the team, but to also be allocated specific “SRSW of the Day” shifts, where they lead the team and hold responsibility for running of the shift and appropriate decision making.· Senior Residential Support Worker’s are expected to deliver and role model the highest standards of teamwork, and maintain strong reporting/recording systems.· Senior Residential Support Worker’s are expected to embrace and engage with continuous improvement of the home, and professional development for themselves and members of the team.· Senior Residential Support Worker’s (SRSWs) will strive for continuous improvement of the home. They will always role model high quality, person centred care, and promote the best, creative, and innovative practice.To be successful in the role you will
  • Have previous care experience
  • NVQ level 3 in health and social Care - Ideally
  • Ideally have Team Lead/Supervisory experience
  • Be proactive, engaging and approachable
