Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in water treatment projects? We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee and deliver clean water and effluent treatment projects in the West Midlands.As a key part of our engineering team, you’ll manage projects from concept through to commissioning, providing leadership, technical insight, and critical support throughout the project lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end project delivery including scoping, design, estimating, and commissioning.
- Support sales teams during project discovery and proposal phases.
- Ensure technical and contractual compliance in all project documentation.
- Lead internal and customer-facing project kick-off meetings and ensure clear communication of scope, roles, and timelines.
- Drive stakeholder engagement and align project milestones with commercial goals.
- Monitor and report project progress, budget adherence, and milestone achievement.
- Supervise installation and commissioning activities, ensuring safety and quality standards are upheld.
- Mentor junior engineers and deputise for the Senior Project Manager or Engineering Manager when required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to ISO audit processes.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in project management within process, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Strong track record in managing water treatment or effluent-related projects.
- Degree, HND, or equivalent in an engineering discipline (desirable).
- Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills.
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- A background in Industrial Wastewater is essential for this role.
- Deep understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and procedures.
