- Contract Management & Negotiation: Lead all aspects of logistics contract management, from tender preparation and negotiation to execution and renewal. This includes challenging suppliers to meet and exceed service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). You'll also review pricing and scope to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvements.
- Budget & Cost Control: Forecast, monitor, and reconcile logistics budgets for the Formula E calendar, reporting any changes to scope and cost variation in a timely manner. You will also develop business cases and effectively challenge suppliers on pricing and terms to secure optimal agreements.
- Import/Export & Asset Management: Act as a subject matter expert on import/export processes and emerging industry trends. You will ensure compliance with international regulations and customs requirements while advising on country-specific transport needs.
- Expert Operational Support: Provide expert guidance and support to the Senior Paddock and Logistics Manager on operational logistics planning. You will also advise on country-specific requirements for relevant transport.
- Experience & Industry Knowledge: Extensive proven experience (8+ years) in Logistics, with a focus on contract negotiation and management, preferably within Motorsport. You'll have a deep understanding of logistics dynamics, including freight forwarding, customs regulations, and warehousing.
- Commercial Acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of legal principles related to commercial contracts and transportation law within the logistics sector. Familiarity with financial analysis, cost modelling, and budgeting is also essential.
- Leadership & Communication: An excellent communicator with outstanding relationship-building and leadership skills. You will also possess commercial acumen with a strategic ability.
