
Senior Manager, Salesforce Functional Lead - Life Sciences, Deloitte Digital

- Collaborate with business stakeholders across different functions to gather and analyse requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Lead a team to design and document scalable and compliant Salesforce solutions, data models, workflows, and user interfaces, specifically tailored to Life Sciences needs. This may include working with or integrating Veeva CRM.
- Current and target state process design, and how this is enabled by Salesforce Life Science Cloud.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and Salesforce product releases, evaluating and recommending new features and functionalities to enhance business processes.
- Lead and manage a team of Salesforce professionals, including developers, consultants, and analysts.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Manage project timelines, risks, budgets, and resources, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Lead and support RFP responses and other pre-sales activities.
- Strong background in successfully delivering Salesforce projects in Health Care and Life Sciences, in client-facing and team leadership roles
- Strong experience as a Salesforce Functional Lead or similar role, with a proven track record of successfully delivering Salesforce solutions
- Strong experience leading and managing delivery teams, using Agile based delivery frameworks
- Deep understanding of the Life Sciences industry
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, designing and implementing Salesforce solutions across the entire project lifecycle
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or equivalent is essential and Life Sciences Cloud or equivalent is highly desirable
- Experience with Veeva CRM and Veeva Vault or equivalent is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing relationships with senior leadership within organisations
- Salesforce or equivalent certifications (e.g., Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant or equivalent) are essential
- Experience contributing to, or leading, RFP responses and other pre-sales activities (e.g. demo set ups, pre-sales conversations etc.)
- Proven track record of investment in building high performing, diverse teams to successfully deliver programme goals
- Ability to travel (potentially abroad) to client sites 80-100% of the time
