Permanent ElectricianRecruitment Agency Reference: J90631A position has arisen for an Electrician placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Cambridge. This role takes responsibility of complete electrical service, including installation, preventative & electrical maintenance, reactive breakdown repairs, independently of any electrical supervision.Your duties will include:
  • Responsible for breakdown and preventive maintenance programmes
  • Carry out safety checks and keep records accordingly
  • responsible for the diagnosis and repairs to specialist electrical engineering plant and equipment
  • monitor and adjust the Building Management System in accordance with service requirements, respond and take appropriate action
  • plan and co-ordinate building and refurbishment projects
  • Carry out risk assessments
  • plan routine inspections, prioritise planned maintenance and where necessary carry out technical investigative work required
  • Undertaking small installation / alteration work as part of building refurbishment or change of use if required
  • Providing information as requested for risk registers, condition surveys and databases
  • Completing required company documentation on fault finding tests and corrective repairs
  • Ensuring Health & Safety across the site at all times
The successful candidate should have:
  • You must have served a recognised City & Guilds or NVQ 3 apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering Maintenance or an appropriate engineering discipline or related subject
  • You must have experience of building maintenance
