Specialist Mentor ASC | Autism SupportPlace of work: Kingston UniversityWe offer: £28 + £3.38 accrued holiday pay, flexible working hours, and support in obtaining necessary National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.Working hours: Part-time, flexible hoursAs part of the eligibility criteria for this role, we require candidates to have completed the relevant National Autistic Society (NAS) training modules.If you have not yet completed these modules, don't worry - we are happy to support you in obtaining them. You will be provided with direct access to the required training materials. The training costs approximately £210 (One time Payment), and successful completion is necessary prior to commencing the role.Upon completion, you will receive a certificate from the National Autistic Society, which can serve as a valuable addition to your professional profile. This certification is widely recognised and can strengthen your CV when applying for roles that support individuals with Autism, ADHD, and other neurodiverse conditions.IntroductionAre you passionate about supporting neurodiverse learners and making a real difference in their academic journey? Randstad Student Support is seeking a dedicated Specialist Mentor ASC to provide individualized support at Kingston University. This part-time role offers flexibility and the chance to grow your career in a supportive environment.ResponsibilityWhat will you be responsible for:Providing individualized academic support to students with autism and Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLDs).Specifically the activities will be:
  • Mentoring and guiding students.
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans.
  • Collaborating with faculty and staff to ensure student success.
