This is an exciting opportunity to join our established Maternity Education Team. We are passionate about planning and providing quality training to our multi-disciplinary work-force in order to improve the quality and safety of those accessing our Maternity Service.Main duties of the jobFulfilling the objectives outlined in the Maternity Incentive Scheme (CNST) and other pivotal reports such as Ockenden and Kirkup, whilst also embedding local priorities.To deliver training in a variety of ways (Simulation, problem based learning, workshops and powerpoint etc) to the multi-disciplinary team.To provide an example of clinical excellence and innovation.To partake in relevant meetings to ensure the importance of education is championed and key messages are shared.To work with the governance team to ensure learning is localised and meaningful.Please see job description for full duties.About usThe Family Division aims to deliver the highest standards of care for maternity, sexual health, gynaecology and a range of acute and community children's services.The Division is a Centre of Excellence for Women's and Children's services and has a credible and enviable reputation.
