Brewer Morris is delighted to be partnering with this FTSE 100 business looking for an International Tax Manager to join one of the largest in-house tax teams in London.As an International Tax Manager, you will be supported by a wider team of 25 tax professionals and report to the International Tax Director. There is also a progression plan in place which will possibly see you step up to Senior Manager in a few years.Some of your responsibilities include:
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to design and deliver a robust international tax strategy
  • Lead relationships with international business units to ensure all tax obligations are met on a timely basis
  • Manage direct tax filings and payments across multiple jurisdictions
  • Support tax reporting and forecasting for international operations
  • Lead tax audits and litigation, defending the group’s position and resolving issues
  • Develop proactive strategies to optimise the group’s tax position in line with KPIs
  • Act as the go-to tax advisor for new business initiatives, restructures, and market entries
  • Maintain strong relationships with external advisors and legal experts
To be considered, you should ideally be ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualified with Big 4/Top 10 international tax experience. In-house and/or tax compliance experience would be advantageous but not a strict requirement. You should also be eager to further develop your skills, have excellent communication skills, and be a team player.Unfortunately, this role will not offer visa sponsorship and is only open to candidates in the UK.In return, you will receive a salary of £75,000-£80,000 base, a 30% discretionary bonus, and a host of benefits.
