Qualified Maths Teacher – Secondary School – LeicesterGSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a secondary school in Leicester. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering a chance to make a real impact in students’ learning.Role Overview:As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts. You will be expected to plan, assess, and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners while fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to secondary school students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths in a UK secondary school.
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
