Our client is a leading, global Islamic bank looking for a London-based Relationship Manager to support the Commercial Property Finance (CPF) arm.Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the regulatory framework is essential, as is familiarity with the UK commercial finance industry and with regulations applicable to commercial finance.
  • As Relationship Manager, you will assist the CPF team in achieving its commercial real estate finance targets and be a focal point in handling relationships for 'owned' cases and manage existing assigned relationships
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and key introducer networks to maximise sales opportunities
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our client's assets, liability and fee income products and a working knowledge of competitor products
  • As per business requirements, cross-sell the Bank's other products
  • Comply with the Bank's risk procedures and criteria to ensure this area is managed according to the Bank's objectives whilst adhering to the Credit Policy and the Bank's Risk Management Framework
  • Work closely with Credit underwriting and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure Asset targets are achieved
  • Perform and review submissions by the Relationship Management team, including but not restricted to, new / enhancement, annual reviews, Watch submissions, EDDs, CDDs
  • Undertake stress scenarios with forward looking cash modelling and demonstrate understanding of Risk Rating Tool, PD & LGD model input
  • In Life Management of the allocated portfolio
  • Assist the Head of Commercial Banking in managing / monitoring the performance and development of the team to ensure the delivery of business objectives

  • Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation skills and the ability to present confidently and to work effectively with staff and management at all levels
