Working Pattern: Hybrid – Office and Remote WorkingContact: Emily Cooper – 07745200325 |Sheldon Phillips are working with Doncaster Council to find an experienced Social Worker to join their North Help and Protection Team. This long-term locality team supports children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, Pre-Proceedings (PLO) and Care Proceedings. The council is committed to improving outcomes for children by providing stable, supportive teams and regular supervision.What You Can Expect:Stable and supportive long-term locality teamOffice base with free on-site parkingWeekly team meetings and 4-weekly case and personal supervisionAccess to extensive training and learning opportunitiesFlexible hybrid working arrangementsDuties and Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of children subject to CIN, CP, PLO and Court ProceedingsUndertake assessments, care planning and direct work with children and familiesWork in partnership with multi-agency professionals to safeguard childrenPrepare reports and attend relevant meetings including legal and court proceedingsMaintain accurate and up-to-date case recordings in line with statutory guidanceRequirements:Social Work England (SWE) registrationQualified Social Worker with completed ASYE (if applicable)Significant post-qualified experience in statutory children's social workExperience of Child Protection, Court Work and multi-agency workingProactive and flexible approach to managing caseloads and meeting deadlinesIf you are looking to join a supportive and established team where your work is valued and your development is prioritised, we want to hear from you.Contact: Emily Cooper – 07745200325 |
