CMA Recruitment Group is currently partnering exclusively with an exciting professional services group based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, who are looking to hire a Junior Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity for a progressive finance professional to work with two qualified mentors whilst taking on an involved daily remit of work. Offering study support and daily guidance, the successful candidate will receive great exposure along with a clear plan on how that can progress to a fully-fledged Financial Accountant role.What will the Junior Financial Accountant role involve?
  • Completion of month end & year end accounts in accordance with accounting standards
  • Support with consolidate reporting
  • Ensure accuracy of general ledger, sub ledgers and reconciliation
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and other analytical tasks
  • Provide insights based on financial performance analysis
  • Involvement with process improvements and other project based tasks to aide the effectiveness of the finance function
Suitable Candidate for the Junior Financial Accountant vacancy:
  • To be considered for the role you need to be working towards your ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience completing year end financial accounts
  • Experience working in a professional services environment is advantageous
