Salary: £42,000–£46,000 DOE + up to 10% bonus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekAre you passionate about quality and continuous improvement? We’re looking for a driven Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at a well-established food manufacturing site in Droitwich. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to lead quality systems, support operational excellence, and help shape the future of our quality culture.The Role:You will oversee the site’s Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with internal standards and external audits while driving continuous improvement across the operation. You'll act as a key player in quality leadership, laboratory management, audit readiness, and supplier/customer relations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the site QMS to support operational and product excellenceIdentify and deliver CI (Continuous Improvement) initiatives across the siteManage laboratory and quality control processesOwn internal and external audit processes, including BRC complianceSupport operations teams with training and process confirmationEnsure timely and accurate quality reporting (Quality Index, monthly KPIs)Foster a proactive approach to identifying and eliminating wasteCollaborate across teams to ensure shared quality objectivesMaintain robust supplier and customer quality relationshipsWhat We’re Looking For:Experience in a similar role (e.g., QA Manager or Technical Coordinator)Knowledge of food manufacturing quality systems and retailer codes of practiceAdvanced food hygiene and strong understanding of microbiologWhat’s in it for You:Competitive salary (£42,000–£46,000 depending on experience)
