We are supporting our client to recruit a Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working to provide support to the UK Business. On a day to day basis you will provide support the accounting team and more specifically the Management Accountant.As the Assistant Accountant - Hybrid Working you will:

Maintain the financial books and records
Perform sales and purchase invoicing
Payment processing and administration
Assist in the preparation of management accounts in line with the relevant accounting policies
Month end prepayment and accrual calculations
Preparing journals for review
Preparation and assistance with supporting schedules
Assist in the production of balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
Undertake financial analysis and production of supporting financial and non-financial reports
Liaising with other Group Finance functions to ensure accuracy and completeness in reporting
Undertaking financial administration
Assistance with the annual audit process
Ensuring HMRC requirements and deadlines are met
Assessment and reporting against SLAs and KPis
Assist in the development of new finance and operation reporting tools
Ensure all financial processes are documented and up to date

Studying towards an Accountancy qualification i.e. ACCA, CIMA or AAT
Have experience of large integrated ERP systems (SAP, Oracle etc)
Knowledge of UK Accounting regulations
