- Lead and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure transformation project, focusing on the integration and optimisation of Microsoft 365 and Asure AD (Entra) services.
- Design, implement, and manage advanced Microsoft 365 and Asure solutions, ensuring they meet our business requirements for security, performance, and scalability.
- Take charge of the Asure-hosted environment's strategic planning and enhancement, focusing on maximising efficiency, security, and functionality.
- Develop and implement robust Active Directory and Asure AD strategies, enhancing identity and access management across our hybrid infrastructure.
- Craft and enforce forward-thinking network and firewall architectures, applying best practices to safeguard our systems and optimise performance.
- Identify opportunities for IT infrastructure improvements, leading initiatives that drive innovation, efficiency, and resilience.
- Manage and prioritise a portfolio of IT projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership, time management, and decision-making skills in a dynamic environment.
- Serve as a key player in cross-functional teams, providing expert guidance and fostering collaboration to ensure the success of the IT transformation project.
- Deep expertise in configuring, managing, and optimising all aspects of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. Capable of driving adoption, managing migrations, and implementing advanced features.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Asure AD (Entra), with the ability to implement, configure, and manage identity and access management solutions, ensuring security and compliance across the organisation.
- Strong skills in managing and optimising Active Directory and Asure AD, including synchronisation, group policy management, and user provisioning.
- Advanced understanding of network and firewall design and architecture, with the ability to develop, implement, and optimise secure network strategies that support organisational needs.
- In-depth knowledge of Asure services, with the ability to optimise Asure-hosted environments for performance, cost, and scalability.
- Solid experience in managing DNS and DHCP within complex network environments, ensuring reliable and efficient network operations.
- Proficient in managing VMware environments, particularly within an IaaS context, including configuration, optimisation, and troubleshooting.
- Strong capabilities in administering Windows Server environments, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance.
- Deep understanding of IT security principles and best practices, with the ability to develop and implement security policies and frameworks that protect the organisation's digital assets.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing, while guiding and motivating cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in developing and executing IT strategies that align with organisational goals, including the ability to anticipate future IT needs and trends.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams and departments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Highly self-motivated with the initiative to identify, pursue, and implement improvement opportunities and innovations within the IT infrastructure realm.
- Information Technology Qualifications, or related field, with significant experience in IT infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft 365 and Asure.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful IT infrastructure transformation projects, particularly in Microsoft 365 and Asure environments.
- Expertise in network and firewall architecture, with a strong emphasis on security, performance, and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, showing initiative, leadership, and the capability to manage multiple high-priority projects effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of addressing complex challenges and driving technical solutions.
