You will have the opportunity to take on people management responsibilities, including developing junior members of the team and may act as a coach for more junior members of the team.Connect to your skills and professional experienceYour ability to focus on our clients and deliver innovative tax solutions will be enhanced by our existing deep relationships with FTSE organisations. Our dedicated London FTSE tax team includes, among others, international tax, M&A, transfer pricing and treasury tax specialists and you will work within this high profile team as an experienced Associate Director, with the support you need to develop and progress, potentially to partnership. You will receive continuous in-house training to develop and hone your technical, industry and soft skills.Responsibilities will include:
  • Managing and delivering complex cross border tax advice
  • Advising UK-based FTSE group's on a range of domestic and international tax matters.
  • Supporting our transfer pricing technical specialists, including business model optimisation
  • Corporate transaction support
  • Dealing with HM Revenue and Customs on technical matters
  • UK compliance, tax accounting and audit support work (depending on candidate experience)
Successful candidates will need:
  • To be highly skilled in key principles of UK corporate tax rules and international tax principles
  • Experience of, or ambition to be, working with major, UK-based, international organisations.
  • The ability to exercise judgement and apply commercial thinking in making client recommendations.
  • ACA, CTA or equivalent qualification or experience (fully qualified)
  • Track record of successfully working in teams combined with an ability to take individual responsibility for driving forward opportunities
  • Exposure to, or keen interest in working with, international clients
