Rate: £25 – £32 per month
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Flexible hours can be discussed.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian to join a dynamic and supportive team based in Lewisham. This role is ideal for a motivated and experienced dietitian with a passion for paediatric care, looking to make a meaningful impact in a community setting. The successful candidate will provide specialist nutritional support to children and young people, working closely with families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.What will your responsibilities be:The role involves delivering expert dietetic care to paediatric patients requiring nutritional support, including those with complex needs such as tube feeding. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing and implementing tailored care plans, and monitoring outcomes. The postholder will work across community settings and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, ensuring integrated and coordinated care. Engagement with families and other healthcare professionals is essential to support the nutritional wellbeing of children under the service’s care.Qualifications and Experiences:
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian
  • BSc (Hons) in Dietetics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in paediatric dietetics, including tube feeding
  • Strong understanding of community healthcare settings
  • Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational and time management skills to manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuing professional development
