INJECTION MOULDING SETTER OPERATOR REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!Do you have previous Injection Moulding experience and are you able to set and operate machinery?!We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter Operator to join a manufacturing business in Telford, this will be working on a panama shift system (rotating 12 hour days and nights), and the role comes with an annual salary paying just under £33,500 per annum.The hiring manager is looking for someone who has experience with either an Engel, Krauss or Kuka machine.What You Will Do:
  • Ensure injection moulding machines are optimally set to produce high-quality components that meet both company and customer requirements.
  • Execute mould, colour, insert, and printer changes in line with the production plan.
  • Perform regular quality and material tests (MFI) and implement corrective actions when quality issues arise.
  • Cover shift leader responsibilities during annual holidays and organise break cover in collaboration with machine operators.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation, input data into production sheets, and report discrepancies to the Shift Leader.
  • Uphold excellent housekeeping standards on the shop floor and adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
  • Proven experience in plastic injection moulding, including tool changing and process setting.
  • Hands-on experience with overhead crane operations.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to act swiftly to resolve issues.
  • Strong communication skills and a conscientious attitude towards work.
  • Experience with Engel, Krauss, or Kuka automation systems is advantageous but not essential.
