Youll work within a multidisciplinary team committed to improving mental health outcomes for young people.This is a fully on-site position due to the nature of the assessments and interventions involved. Youll have the opportunity to contribute to a highly specialist service and engage directly with service users and their families in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Main duties of the jobWhat you can add:
  • Provide evidence-based CBT interventions to a defined caseload of young people, supporting their psychological wellbeing and recovery
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clinical needs and develop care plans collaboratively with young people and their families
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT), sharing clinical insights and collaborating with colleagues, offering consultation and guidance to other professionals on psychological interventions and best practices when appropriate
  • Participate in the team duty rote approximately twice a month (with flexibility to increase according to service needs)

  • Understanding of trauma-based interventions and their application in a CAMHS context
  • Confidence participating in MDT meetings and contributing to clinical discussions
  • CAMHS experience is essential
  • EPJS knowledge is desirable
