
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist

- Provide evidence-based CBT interventions to a defined caseload of young people, supporting their psychological wellbeing and recovery
- Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine clinical needs and develop care plans collaboratively with young people and their families
- Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings (MDT), sharing clinical insights and collaborating with colleagues, offering consultation and guidance to other professionals on psychological interventions and best practices when appropriate
- Participate in the team duty rote approximately twice a month (with flexibility to increase according to service needs)

- BABCP Registration
- Specialist mental health and psychological knowledge and skills in relation to moderate to severe anxiety disorders, depression, single and complex trauma.
- Experience delivering CBT and other interventions such as IPT-A, Art Therapy, or trauma-informed approaches
- Understanding of trauma-based interventions and their application in a CAMHS context
- Confidence participating in MDT meetings and contributing to clinical discussions
- CAMHS experience is essential
- EPJS knowledge is desirable
