Job Title: MFL Teacher (Spanish, German or French)
Location: B31, Birmingham
Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Pay: Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the B31 area of Birmingham. This is a full-time, long-term position, ideal for a passionate teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality language lessons.Subjects:Spanish, German, or French (any one language considered)Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective MFL lessons to KS3 and KS4 studentsPlan, prepare, and mark work in accordance with the school’s curriculumMonitor student progress and provide regular feedbackContribute to departmental planning and developmentMaintain high standards of classroom behaviour and learning outcomesRequirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualificationExperience teaching MFL at secondary school level in the UKStrong subject knowledge in at least one of Spanish, German, or FrenchA commitment to planning, marking, and contributing to the wider school communityExcellent classroom management and communication skillsFull-time availability, Monday to FridayWhat We Offer:Long-term role in a supportive and welcoming schoolFull planning and marking responsibilities includedCompetitive pay in line with the teacher pay scale (MPS/UPS)Opportunity to make a lasting impact on student language learningTo apply, please send your up-to-date CV along with a brief cover letter outlining your language specialism and availability. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
