A well-established regional law firm is seeking a proactive and experienced Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of litigation matters while contributing to the growth and development of a forward-thinking department.The Role
The successful candidate will be confident, structured, and experienced in civil litigation, handling a mixed caseload including:Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputesConsumer law mattersBoundary disputesContentious probate mattersYou will also support the departments marketing initiatives to promote the firms reputation and grow the client base.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate new work and maintain high-quality service for existing clientsDevelop and enhance the Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department, encouraging cross-referrals across offices and practice areasAchieve fee income targets and departmental objectivesKeep up to date with legislation and best practice in civil and commercial litigationManage billing, cash flow, and daily time records accuratelyPerform fee-earning work in line with the firms quality and risk proceduresPerson SpecificationEssentialQualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal ExecutiveExperience managing a busy caseload and working autonomouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to develop strong client relationshipsWillingness and ability to undertake advocacyStrong organisational skills and problem-solving abilitiesAble to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesProfessional, positive, flexible, and a team playerDesirableExperience with SOS Connect or other case management systemsBenefits
