This role is suited to a highly motivated and commercially minded Finance Analyst and is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to make an impact within a fast-paced, owner-managed business with exciting growth plans.Reporting directly to the Commercial Finance Manager and providing analytical support and financial insight to drive strategic and operational decision-making.Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and report on revenue recognition and billing costs
- Produce and maintain weekly and monthly revenue reports
- Deliver insightful customer profitability and KPI analysis
- Support the month-end close process and wider commercial reporting
- Partner with the sales team to provide commercial finance support
- Build and enhance financial models and dashboards
- Deliver ad hoc analysis to support fast-paced business needs
- AAT Qualified, ideally studying towards CIMA or ACCA
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical skills
- Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in financial modelling
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to simplify complex data and present actionable insights
- Comfortable working cross-functionally and challenging stakeholders
- Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Experience in the downstream access mailing market is desirable but not essential
