(PDF, 197.86kb)T Level LecturerCollege location: East Surrey College (Redhill)Salary: £30,760 - £40,113 pro rata (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)Hours: Full time (37 hours/week) Monday – Friday 08:45-17:00We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic T Level Lecturer to deliver teaching and assessing on Levels 3-4.Working closely with the Director of Learning and the rest of the Construction team, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.This post will suit an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer with a background in Civil Engineering and Surveying. In addition to lecturing, the successful candidate may be appointed as Course Leader for at least one of our T Level programmes and will act as a personal tutor to full and part-time students.The successful candidate must have:
  • A full teaching qualification or currently working towards one
  • A Civil Engineering Degree
  • Relevant industry experience or qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students
It is also highly desirable that you hold the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and also desirable for you to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) it is essential that you are willing to update to the new standards).If this sounds like you and you will enjoy working in a forward thinking, friendly, fast paced, changing environment with state of the art facilities, we would love to hear from you.
