We are recruiting Newly Qualified Social Workers to launch their careers in our adult mental health teams and we want to hear from applicants who bring energy, integrity, fresh ideas - and a real commitment to empowering Lewisham's mental health service-users and their carers.What's the role?Lewisham Council works closely with South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) and voluntary sector partners to provide integrated innovative mental health services for working-age adults. Our mental health social workers play key roles in neighbourhood-based multi-disciplinary teams across the borough. They provide a strong social care voice, working alongside colleagues from the NHS and voluntary sector. Some are based in fast-paced Primary Care Mental Health Teams carrying out rapid assessments and brief interventions, others in Community Mental Health Teams providing longer-term holistic care coordination for people living with serious mental health conditions.What's in it for you?We provide excellent training and development opportunities, plus a range of benefits including:
