This role will be responsible for driving forward projects and partnerships relating to Economic Development across the Broxtowe Borough.To make a significant contribution to the economic prosperity of Broxtowe by project managing the delivery of major projects and services that are in contract and or being constructed. Where relevant, the post will lead on project delivery, investment schemes, and delivering projects and programmes to their financial and physical completion. Additionally, the post holder will lead on Town Centre Management activities, projects and initiatives, aimed at promoting the health and prosperity of the Borough's four major towns and retail centres.Broxtowe Borough Council|NottinghamshireAre you someone who is good at relationship management? Perhaps you are someone who has experience of managing construction projects which are in build and are good at ensuring programmes, prices and services are meeting client expectations? If you have these skills sets and have an interest in town centres, markets and helping and supporting the businesses located there you would be our ideal candidate.We are equally happy to receive interest from someone experienced in town centre management and promotion activities, or supporting businesses and who has a desire or an aptitude to learn about construction project management and delivery. These two facets of an exciting new post in Broxtowe are given equal merit; overall however, the successful candidate will be good at problem solving and working collaboratively with others.Broxtowe Borough Council serves Beeston Stapleford, Kimberley and Eastwood and surrounding areas and is a thriving and prosperous region with exciting plans which will see a spend of nearly £40m over the next 3 years on capital projects relating to the economic development of the region.A salary of up to £40,989 is on offer for this position and you will also receive the below comprehensive benefits package:
