– Lead, mentor, and support your team to effectively manage cases of looked after children
– Ensure that the team achieves high standards in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
– Work closely with the assistant team manager to oversee day-to-day operations
– Liaise with external agencies to coordinate comprehensive care plans
– Monitor and assess team performance, providing feedback and implementing improvements as required
– Participate in meetings and case reviews, offering your expertise and guidanceRequirements of the Team Manager:
– Degree or equivalent in social work
– Current Social Work England registration
– Recent managerial experience, working as a TM, DTM or ATM etc.
