An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Manufacturing UK Finance team, supporting the UK Manufacturing function of more than 1,000 employees.Salary: Up to £55,000 depending on experienceDynamic (hybrid) working: 3 days average per week on-site due to workload classificationSecurity Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenshipRestrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.What we can offer you:

Our loyalty and team spirit is evident in everything we do.As a Finance Business Partner, you will be embedded within a multi-function environment, providing a service to both finance and non-finance functions in order to support the delivery of the annual financial objectives.This role will give you broad experience of manufacturing finance, involving cost base and projects, as well as business partnering. As a result of the evolving workload, this position offers great potential to progress within the team.You will:
  • Have financial responsibility for specific programmes
  • Support and manage Unit Production Costs (UPCs), delivering accurate, timely and valuable management information
  • Accountability for Estimates at Completion on a bi-annual basis
  • Involvement with senior stakeholders in analysis of the in-year UPC
  • Liaise with other functions as a manufacturing finance expert
  • Be involved in the SAP 4/HANA implementation
What we’re looking for from you:
  • You will be a Part Qualified / Qualified Accountant with experience within a large, manufacturing based environment
  • Background of project and / or overhead cost control
  • Experience of SAP (R3 and / or HANA) and an associated Manufacturing Execution System would be a significant advantage
  • Experience of working as a Business Partner to Non Finance stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel to other MBDA UK sites as and when needed
