University Hospital Wishaw is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic healthcare professionals to join our new dynamic Frailty Unit.Our Frailty Unit provides specialist multidisciplinary care for older people living with frailty, focusing on early assessment, rehabilitation, and safe discharge planning whilst applying home first principles. You will work within a collaborative team, benefit from ongoing professional development, and contribute to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have responsibility for assessment of care needs and evaluation of programmes of care ensuring the delivery of high quality care to patients.   • Registered Nurse with valid UK NMC Registration
  • Post graduate expertise within specialty/area of practice that demonstrates required breath of knowledge to lead safely, effectively and efficiently
  • Further education, evidence of continuous professional development in area including study days, courses, postgraduate qualification
  • Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines/standards in speciality as well as specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality
  • Leadership skills with an ability work motivate others and work using own initiative
  • Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology
