Job Description:Robert Half Finance & Accounting are excited to be bringing to the market a Financial Accountant role based in the thriving Central Bristol on a permanent contract. You will be joining a driven & high-performing team in a company with ambitious growth plans, so if you're looking for a lot of exposure across the business and to accelerate your career this is the place for you!This role would suit perfectly an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant looking to make their first move out of practice into industry or someone currently working in industry with an audit background simply looking for a challenge. With both profiles you will be technically sound and enjoy the thrill of a busy and buzzing office environment; you will be leveraging on your financial accounting background, but will have the opportunity to diversify your skillset in other areas of finance.The salary on offer for the successful candidate is up to £65,000 + bonus + benefits.Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of the monthly consolidation process (adjustments, transactions), reviewing finances to analyse variances and provide support with analysis to the business
  • Lead the preparation of the quarterly reporting cycle, performing reconciliations under IFRS
  • Consolidate P&L statements and analyse against business plan, identifying risks & opportunities, providing key variance analysis
  • Support consolidated budgeting process, analysis of quarterly performance
  • Prepare in depth analysis and presentations for senior leadership and internal & external stakeholders
  • Support tax calculations
  • Support audit process
  • Support change initiatives
  • Be involved, as and when, in wider financial responsibilities including cash flows, month end, due diligence, risk & compliance reporting
About You:
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS
  • Analytical mindset
  • Strong interpersonal skills - be confident and comfortable engaging a range of stakeholders
