- Providing assistance in the Learning Support of SEMH students
- Capability to provide support to children with a variety of special needs.
- Providing one - on - one support and guidance inside and outside the classroom.
- Supporting students in the management of behaviour, emotional regulation to build positive relationships.
- A reliable character for students to use for their development and emotional challenges.
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a collaborative environment.
- Help in the preparation of learning materials
- Relevant SEMH Qualifications are beneficial as well as experience working with SEN children.
- Enthusiasm for supporting those with education needs and emotional development.
- Effective interpersonal and observation skills for good communication between students, teachers and parents.
- Patience, resilience and adaptability to provide the right support for individual needs.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
- SEND teaching qualification
