- Designing and executing an innovative pastry menu across all outlets, including breakfast pastries, plated desserts, afternoon tea, and custom cakes for events.
- Supervising daily operations of the pastry section, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Overseeing production, plating, and presentation with meticulous attention to detail.
- Collaborating with the Head Chef and F&B team on menu development and seasonal offerings.
- Mentoring and training other team members, fostering a positive and creative kitchen culture.
- Ensuring all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices are maintained to the highest standard.
- Managing pastry inventory, ordering, and cost control in line with budgetary goals.
- Continuously innovating and staying updated on international pastry trends and techniques.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel, fine dining restaurant, or high-end patisserie.
- A formal culinary or pastry arts qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry techniques.
- Skilled in chocolate work, sugar artistry, viennoiserie, plated desserts, and cake design.
- A passion for quality, creativity, and innovation in pastry arts.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and events.
