Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant (LSA) – Primary | L5 | PMLD, ASD & Challenging BehaviourMilk Education is working closely with a well-established Primary SEN school in the L5 area, and we’re looking for resilient, full-time Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support pupils with a range of complex needs.The Role:You'll be supporting children with:
  • PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
  • ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
  • Pupil who may display challenging behaviour
As part of the classroom team, you’ll help deliver structured activities, assist with communication and sensory needs, and contribute to a calm, consistent learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day classroom and individual support to students with ASD & PMLD
  • Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo to implement learning plans
  • Support with emotional regulaion and promote positive behaviour
  • Build meaningful realtionships with students, promoting trust and consistency
  • Assist with personal care when required (training provided if necessary)
  • Help maintain a cakm, safe, and structured learning enviornment
Ideal Candidates:
  • Experience supporting children with learning disabilities (this could be from education, care or support work)
  • Comfortale supporting children with challenging behaviour
  • Calm, patient, and able to build trust and positive relationships quickly
  • Proactive and hands-on - you won't be standing on the sidelines
  • Psychology graduates with previous SEN experince are highly encouraged to apply
  • Must be available full-time, Monday to Friday
